The Veronicas @ MCM
Taken earlier this week, this was the first live show photographed on my new Nikon D3, and it truly went a breeze. Most of these shots were taken at 3200 iso, an unimaginable range on my old d200 (I would never go about 800 iso, in an emergency).
The D3 has opened up a whole door of choices now, often while shooting now, where I once would have been pulling the flash out, I simply find a nice source of natural light, up the ISO and bang, there you have it. Shooting gigs, conferences, portraits, the whole spectrum of jobs, has become so much easier.
I feel as though now that I can get shots at a much faster rate, I have time to search for more obscure or obtuse images. I really think that this revolution for Nikon will shape the way we shoot.

This drummer was 100% pure 80s rock. Mesmerizing to watch, could have been an extra in Wayne's World
